HEARTBREAKERS. Yeah, we romance writers love these bad boys. There’s nothing quite like taming the wild one, and we grin just thinking about how we’re going to turn him into a heartthrob and the man our heroine needs him to be.
I’d love to hear if you have a heartthrob in your life? Or are you still looking for him? Perhaps you’re a romance writer and you dream of turning your heartbreaker into the best hero ever? Hey, and maybe you’re even one of these heartthrobs? because guys, I haven’t forgotten about you.
Flex those muscles, and if you leave a comment WITH YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS you can go into the draw for a chance to win an ebook copy of PROTECTOR. The winner will be announced on 12th February 2013, and I’ll contact you by email to organise your prize.
But that’s not all… Your comment also drops you into the grand prize draw of the hop (prizes are featured below–and they are amazzzing), so make sure you don’t miss out. It just takes one comment on this post WITH YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS to get you into BOTH DRAWS. 🙂
To love and protect…across worlds.
Eighteen-year-old Faith Stryker is prepared to leap out into the unknown world beyond her home shores of New Zealand to experience life. Only she never expected to encounter Magio, a planet with two warring countries, where its people reach adulthood at eighteen by coming into their strength and prophetic abilities. Only after Faith discovers she’s a Halfling–thanks to her warrior father she’s never met–does her own skill of forethought develop.
Peacio’s Prince Davio Loveria is sent to the young Faith Stryker by his grandfather, but not all goes as planned. Davio discovers Faith isn’t just a Halfling, she’s also his soul-bound mate–an intense relationship he cannot, nor will not, give up.
With two wars now waging…one of land and the other of the heart…can the young lovers find their place in the world?

Hi Meradeth. Thanks so much for dropping by. Love that. You’re in both the draws. Good luck.
I just left a comment, but because I wasn’t logged in it disappeared 🙁
But, is was something like this……I’m answer to the questions above, the Love of my life is the reason my Heart is aching beyond any comprehension and the tears are streaming down my face. However, if any of the heart throbs you spoke of are non-fiction, can give a woman the fairy tale (YES I STILL BELIEVE, lol), have any sense of honesty in them I’m salivating and hey, give me a call! lolololol.
See now that was embarrassing to post, however if any of those hot men want to pop out of a book and “rescue” me my email is: melissaiorio42@gmail.com Yeeeaah, the email is really for the contest so I don’t expect Mr. Hottie up there to jump off the cover and come create some new fiction (JK JK JK, lol) 😉
Joanne, thank you so much for this op to enter and OMG!!! That cover of your book is GORGEOUS!!!!!! I am a cover love woman!!
Happy reading and good luck everyone 🙂
Hi Melissa. What a great comment. Love it, and that you think my cover’s gorgeous. Wow. You’re in the both the draws. Wishing your every fairy tale is answered. 🙂
The heartthrob in my life is obviously my husband (otherwise we wouldn’t have been married for almost 10 years!). Although it’s just as much fun to dream up heartthrobs for my heroines 😉
Hey, Clare. Your hubby sounds fabulous. Congrats on almost 10 years. That’s wicked. 🙂
This is a quite possibly my favorite post of yours ever! Great content, adorable pics and free stuff! FABULOUS!
So, the delish guy on your awesome cover; I knew a tan skinned, flame headed version of him in school. We called him Ethereal Boy b/c he looked like a Greek God or a Renaissance painting!
It was destiny, a real life romance tale. Clandestine-like, we had codes, secret midnight rendezvous in the Arts building where he painted my portrait and one stolen kiss (I did the stealing). One day, SMASH. PUBLIC heartbreak!
I swore it was the last time anyone would break my heart. I’d do the breaking. Still whenever I see six foot red head with broad shoulders I stop. *SIGH*
writehardy@gmail.com
BTW, How are the boys down under? Lol! I’m over the whole heart breaking phase! Promiso. 🙂
Hey, I ‘m so glad this is your favourite post. I love all the free stuff too. Wow, I can just see the Art building and the clandestine hookup…
I agree though, next time, you do the heart-breaking. And the boys Down Under are pretty hot. We’re a melting pot of many cultures, so you can just about have your pick. Although our national sport is Rugby, so the boys grow up tall and tough. Put the picture of Chris Hemsworth from the Thor movie in your mind. Oh yeah, hot!
You’re in both the draws. 🙂 Have a fabulous day. 🙂
I married my Heart Throb on Valentines Day 2006!!
alslagle06@live.com
Ooo, I like that, Amber. A Valentines Day wedding. You lucky girl. Which means congratulations to you on your 7th wedding anniversary next week. You’re in both the draws.
I married my heart throb thirty four years ago. He still is 😉 And oddly enough, he had a rep as a bad boy, once upon a time. I changed all that!
I am sighing with delight at the thirty-four years. Love it. 🙂
This book sounds and looks so good!

Thanks, Susan. You’re in both the draws. 🙂
Thanks for the giveaway and participating in the hop!
I think that Christian Grey from “50 Shades of Grey” is a good example of a heartbreaker. He used and abused Ana at first, but then came to his senses by book two.
mestith@gmail.com
Okay, now I’m going to have to read “50 Shades of Grey.” Thanks for dropping by, Meghan. You’re in both the draws. 🙂
For me the heartbreaker is a bad boy who goes kicking and screaming into love! When he falls he falls hard!
The only heartbreakers I have encountered are literary! And my all time fav is Mr Darcy! Although, I am currently crushing on Zadist from the Black Dagger Brotherhood!
Love that cover art!! Looks amazing…and added to my Goodreads!
grapeapril75(AT)gmail(DOT)com
Oh, I love Mr Darcy. Thanks for adding Protector to your TBR list. 🙂 You’re in both the draws.
The heartthrob in my life has to be my husband. The cover of your book is striking. I have liked you on Facebook, it is always nice to come across a fellow Kiwi. I look forward to reading your books.

I love reading about hearthbreakers! They are usually bad-boys, they’re witty, funny and sexy and the female population is drooling after them lol

I love the blog hop so many great books

My favorite part of having a heart breaker is the world class groveling. Todd in Lauren Dane’s Laid Bare is my perfect example.

My favorite heartbreaker is the one that your heart can’t live without. One of my best is Lucas from D B Reynolds book “Lucas” (Vampire in America series). Strong mind, well put together and tender when he needs to be.

My favorite heartbreaker? It would definitely have to be Bruce Wayne/Batman. Broken hearts on record? Talia al Ghul, Zatanna, Sliver St. Cloud, Vicki Vale, Selina Kyle, Wonder Woman, Sasha Bordeaux, Andrea Beaumont, Barbara Gordan, nameless date of the week….It’s a long list, but I was added on that list when I was around 3 so…some of those girls better just step aside since I’ve been on the list longer. I think girls like heartbreakers because they think they can be the special girl that finally gets through to the “real” him and can change him for the better. Even though I love my heartbreaker Batman. I would still pick my future husband (April 6th!) over him, because I know that my handsome nerd knows what he’s got at home and is in it for “forever after.”
Thanks for participating! I still really want to read your Protector book from the last blog giveaway. This is a good reminder to read it!

Congratulations on the upcoming wedding. And I wish for you and your Mr. Handsome a wonderful “forever after.” Thanks for dropping by. You’re in both the draws.
Great looking cover! Book sounds interesting!
Heartbreakers are a necessary evil 🙂 I wouldn’t know what to do with myself without Bristish model David Gandy to fantasize about!
Reblogged this on georgeforfun.
I do have a heartthrob in my life and it is my husband. The fact that he is a fireman alone makes him a bit of a heartthrob. I mean we have all seen those calenders of gorgeous fireman right? Well l married one. I’m a lucky girl, I know. Thanks for being part of the blog hop.
